1 do a pass plus course with your driving instructor,/2 when you are asked where you work make sure it is no where with a drink license/ 3 register it with a family member that lives at a different postcode maybe yours is high risk area/ 4 get a class 1 alarm this will lower some insurance loads / try these they might help you .

Check out… Confused.com
Oh and sometimes it’s cheaper to have third party fire and theft, as apposed to third party only. Try it you will be surprised.
Good luck! : )

Do a safty course that is reconized by most insurance companies.
By a 4 door or family car.
Do not by red colored car.
by a car with passive restraints.
Try to find of street parking or garage location.

I’ve got some yrs on me………and trust me it DOES NOT
go down. they say it does but by the time you reach the age that it should go down the prices have gone-up to meet you……And there you have the cold-hard TRUTH!!!

Take an advanced driver course, this will not only reduce your insuramce costs but teach you how to drive, not how to handle a car in order to pass a test.

if in the UK you can take a `pass plus` course, though even that won`t bring it down too much, my stepsons 19 and he`s had to go on my insurance as his was 1200 quid , until your 25 mate you will get hammered on insurance, insurance wise try adrian flux if u havent already or swiftcover.com but where possible dont just go third party only, you`ll prob only find fully comp a few quid more but trust me if u only have 1st party its as good as driving with no insurance.

Hi,
The money you will spend on apss pluss corse it a lot more then yiou will get off your insurance!! trust me many people I know have gone down that road hehehe!! and well my friend got £20 off and it cost he a lot lot more to do the course!! ask around if you don’t beleave me!
The way I got cheap insurance the first time was simply this and it still works if you donlt mind waiting a month or two.
Firstly go to the Quinn Direct Website enter you deatails, then in the lisence section tick provisional lisence. ofcourse you will need to put L plates on for a month or two months and drive with someone over 21!…… =)
Then you simply call them (On the FREE phone number) up after this time and tell them that you need to update your records to a full lisence and hey presto!! it will stay at the lower price…
check it out an onlne qute with full .isence it will be say £1000 (Don’t worry you don;t have to save this) then try provisional it will be around £650
Hope this helps and rem.. you will need L’s and 21 driver with full lisence to make it all leagal!! what every you do***

you could move house, change jobs or have children these can and ofter do make big difference to you insurance that said £1000 is not bad for a starter car my first car cost me £2000 per year back ten years ago.
My advice is pay it in instalments and not crash the car or get speeding tickets then next year your insurance will drop staggeringly
If this dose not work try having a sex change girls do get it easy and for that reason we should all take insurance companies to court for being sexist and discriminating against us!

look into getting a classic car, I am not sure exactly what the requirements would be now but it’s old cars over 25 years old or something
